CCC Mark QR Code Requirements

For the 3 products under the Compulsory China Certification (CCC) catalog, including power banks (portable chargers), electric bicycles and gas-burning appliances, a QR code must be placed adjacent to the CCC mark.

Manufacturer should affix a traceability QR code to the right side of the above product CCC mark pattern. The mark and the QR code must be adjacent and inseparable, and the pattern should be clear and complete.

The traceability QR code shall comply with the QR code rules for certification. For printed/molded CCC marks, the traceability QR code shall be provided by the certification body to the applicant when issuing the certificate. For standard CCC marks, the traceability QR code shall be added by the certification body on the CCC mark.

The relevant parties can obtain corresponding certified product information by scanning the traceability QR code, including the certificate number, producer name, product specifications and models, certificate status, certification body, etc.

From March 1, 2026, new products within the above category must have the CCC traceability QR code affixed before they can be sold, imported, or used in China market.

From March 1, 2027, all certified products within the above categories must have the CCC traceability QR code affixed before they can be sold, imported, or used in China market.

Certified products in the above categories that have already been sold, imported, or used in market with the CCC mark affixed according to current requirements before March 1, 2027, are not required to change the mark.
