China CCC News: The new standard GB9656-2021 will be implemented on Jan 1, 2023

GB9656-2021: Safety technical specification for glazing materials used in power-driven vehicles will replace GB9656-2003 after January 1^st, 2023.

Vehicle glasses are under CCC SDoC category.

Manufacturers can apply for CCC SDoC according to the new standard for new products now. 

The transition period of this standard update is till December 31^st, 2023. 

After January 1^st, 2024, certificates tested according to the old standard will be withdrawn.

There are significant changes in GB9656-2021 compare to GB9656-2003 like adding more product types and test items and changes of some test methods.
